Overview
Kloodle is a skills and character development platform which is proving to be versatile and engaging for schools, enhancing students’ creative journeys and making their learning experiences more impactful.
SST Corpus Christi in Texas is a prime example of how Kloodle supports creative and character-building projects, empowering students to develop vital life skills through both creative and academic activities.
SST Corpus Christi’s Character Education Programme with Kloodle
SST Corpus Christi has been utilising Kloodle to enhance its character education programme, led by Ashton Sigler. Through the TORCH virtues (Trustworthiness, Open-Mindedness, Responsibility, Compassion, Honesty), students are encouraged to cultivate integrity and self-awareness, documented in their individual Kloodle profiles. One unique aspect of this programme involves the “My Creative Type” quiz, which helps students discover their personal creative styles and strengths. This self-discovery activity introduces creative thinking as a skill valuable in both school and future careers, aligning perfectly with SST’s commitment to holistic development.
Ashton, who is a candidate for the Master of Arts in Character Education at University of Birmingham, says: “I really enjoy using Kloodle because it is easy for my students to navigate and I can quickly tailor it to my students’ different needs and interests. Since we have a wide array of ages, it is important to use language they understand and use age-appropriate teaching techniques. Kloodle has allowed us to teach the same lessons and have the same discussions with all of our students which is really impactful when starting a new program.”
Elevating Creative Expression with the Arts Award
Kloodle’s potential extends to supporting the Arts Award (ATS), a UK-based programme which encourages young people to explore the arts. The Arts Award offers a structured framework, allowing students to showcase and document their creative projects. With Kloodle, students can seamlessly compile their work, creating digital portfolios which reflect their creative process, skills’ development, and achievements. This digital record not only helps students complete the ATS levels but also serves as a valuable addition to future job or college applications.

Kloodle: Empowering Creativity and Growth Beyond the Classroom
With its ability to foster creative thinking and provide a structured approach to character education, Kloodle is an ideal tool for students. The platform not only supports creative development but also enables students to retain their digital portfolios, continuing their progress after they leave school. By using Kloodle, students are better equipped to understand their unique strengths, reflect on their learning, and build a future-ready set of creative skills. Kloodle’s support for the creative initiatives makes it an invaluable resource for schools and organisations looking to nurture creativity, develop well-rounded students, and prepare young people for an ever-evolving world.
