Work experience is a crucial activity to undertake for any young person. It provides an insight into the world of work, enables a person to get a flavour for a particular career and also demonstrates the change in pace from the academic environment the young person is used to. Securing work experience can be a difficult endeavour. Meaningful work experience can be even tougher to secure. Below is a blog post by Ben Cronin. The work experience would be useful as it relates almost entirely to the course I am currently doing, Media Level 3 Cambridge Technical. It will also be useful as it will be an insight to a professional place of work as well as a small section of the media industry and how media is used in the marketing industry.
